The Yearbook 2008
For the last two years, pupils and staff in Year 11 have produced a School Leavers Yearbook. This is a chance to record permanently pupil’s views and experiences of their time in school and to have pictures of pupils, staff and events from all 5 of their years at Castleford High School. The Yearbook will also feature farewells from pupils, form tutors, staff and prefects as well as awards created, nominated and voted on by the pupils themselves.
This year’s Yearbook is going to be the biggest and best ever. Pupils in the Yearbook Committee distributed questionnaires around the pupils of Year 11 to decide what this year’s leaving yeargroup really wanted. The results found that pupils were willing to spend between £10 - £15. Through much research we have managed to get a yearbook created for £12. This price will come down the more yearbooks we sell.
It is necessary for us to collect the money in first for the yearbook. The company requires the money up front before they will release the books.
Year 11 will receive the yearbook before they leave.
If you would like a yearbook, letters will be going out during the next week with a slip to return with payment.
