Holy Family halted the Castleford juggernaut - but could only share the
Carnegie Champion Schools Girls' Year Nine trophy.
Substitute Hannah Thorpe crashed over in the closing stages to rescue
a dramatic draw for Castleford after Keighley-based outfit Holy Family
had looked like winning.
Kelsey Morgan's try had given Castleford an early lead but Holy Family
were quick to respond.
Lucie Shutt spun out of two tackles before feeding Rebecca McLean on
the left flank and her pace was enough to see her school draw level.
Danielle Cutler's close-range effort early in the second half pushed
the Keighley school ahead and they looked to be heading to victory
until Thorpe's determined score.
