Geography

In Geography we aim to stimulate pupils’ interest in their surroundings, in a variety of physical and human environments. We encourage pupils to take an interest in local geographical issues and the relationship of these to national and international issues. Pupils are encouraged to build an understanding of place and location, while enhancing their sense of responsibility for care of the earth and its peoples.

Students will also have the opportunity to participate in field trips to Otley Chevin for orienteering, Yarm to study the river Tees and Flambrough Head to study coastal erosion.
