Students will be greeted on entry to the changing rooms. The expectation of the department is for students to enter the changing rooms in an orderly manner and to get changed into the appropriate kit (see kit policy). When a member of staff enters the changing rooms students are expected to have all jewellery off, hair tied back, no chewing gum in their mouths and be silent for the register. Students should behave responsibly in the changing rooms and show respect for each other and the contents of the changing rooms.
Care of personal property including jewellery/valuables
For safety reasons all jewellery is required to be removed. If children have recently had their ears pierced they should be covered with tape. On PE/Games days children are strongly encouraged to leave their watches/jewellery at home. The PE department will take responsibility of watches and a purse with the valuable of up to £2. Pupils should not have mobile phones in school. If students chose to bring a phone into school they are locked away with the remainder of their belongings in the changing rooms at their own risk. The school will not take responsibility for any lost phones.
