KIT POLICY
In order to maintain the high standards set within the school regarding uniform and for reasons of safety and hygiene, all pupils at Castleford
High School have to wear the correct PE kit for the activities undertaken.
General Information on Kit Requirements for Boys and Girls
- All students must ensure that they have the correct PE kit for each lesson
- All students must change back into school uniform after each lesson
- All jewellery must be removed before each lesson
- PE kit should be named
- It is strongly recommended that for activities where physical contact can take place that shin-pads are worn for safety.

- Black Castleford High School short sleeved polo shirt
- Plain black jumper/cardigan/fleece
- Black Castleford High School Shorts (no stripes)
- Black/Navy Tracksuit bottoms
- Castleford High School Rain Jacket (Optional)
- Trainers
- Black Football Socks
Boys
- Black/Yellow Castleford High School Rugby Top (Reversible)
- Black Castleford High School short sleeved polo shirt
- Black Castleford High School Shorts (no stripes)
- Black/Navy Tracksuit bottoms

Failure to bring kit or incorrect kit
If students arrive to PE without or bring incorrect kit, a member of staff will provide it. Sanctions will be enforced.
Kit Sanctions within a Half Term
- First Time: Warning Recorded in the PE book
- Second Time: Break Time detention
- Third Time: Half Hour detention
- Fourth Time: Half Hour/ PE Report
Participation
All students are expected to participate actively in lessons regardless of injury or illness. Students must bring their full PE kit to all lessons (regardless of injury). They will be given a role within the lesson. |
