Junior Mathematics Challenge 2007

In May every year over a quarter of a million pupils from all over the UK take part in a maths challenge organised by Leeds University. This is a very demanding contest and only attracts the best mathematical brains in the country. This year was the turn of pupils in year 8. The entrants getting the highest scores receive a certificate that will take pride of place in their record of achievement.

Of the 19 who entered 11 scored enough points to qualify for an award.

Silver :                   George Marchant, Matthew Lockett and Sarah Worrilow. Lauren Hirst (year 7)
